Monetization of subsidies. The government said the payment of compensation
In Ukraine continues the process of preparing for the monetization of subsidies. Ukrainians who heat their homes with gas or with electricity and received subsidies in the past heating season, have until 1 September to submit to the social security authorities of a statement of receipt of these funds. The amount will be up to 700 UAH.
The compensation payments themselves will hold until the end of October or beginning of November, roughly the beginning of the new heating season. This was stated by Minister of social policy Andrei Reva, reports “Interfax-Ukraine”.
The total amount that you intend to use on the monetization of subsidies will amount to UAH 1.3 bn. In General, to exercise the right to obtain compensation about two million Ukrainian families.
Housing subsidies now in Ukraine are almost 5 million 429 thousand. At the end of last heating season there were 6 million 145 thousand “weed out” debtors and those who have profits above social norms (due to increase from 1 January 2017 the minimum wage in two times – up to 3,2 thousand UAH).
From the beginning of 2017 for subsidies from the budget spent 35 billion by the end of the year to allocate UAH 26 bn.
