Akhmetov has bought the shares of two power companies
Today, August 18, the state property Fund sold on stock exchange block packages “Kyivenergo” and “DTEK Zapadenergo”. The new owner was the company Ornex, part of SCM Group of billionaire Rinat Akhmetov.
Over 25% of shares of PJSC “DTEK Zakhidenergo” paid 417,163 million UAH, which is 69,58 million UAH more than the starting value (there were two bidders). And for 25% of shares of PJSC “Kyivenergo” – 759,633 million UAH (initial cost, because it was one of the bidders).
Now the company Akhmetov owns 97.3% of “Kyivenergo” and 96% shares of “DTEK Zapadenergo”.
We will remind that on 16 August the company Ornex upgrade acquired 25% shares of PJSC “DTEK Donetskoblenergo” for 143,81 million.
