The mayor of the capital Vitali Klitschko commented on the sensational rating of the Economist, in which Kiev entered the top ten worst cities to live in.

He declared it in interview to the newspaper “Facts”, the press service of the KSCA.

“Rating the comfort of the cities, “The Economist” consists of five categories: stability, healthcare, culture and environment, education and infrastructure. In each category the experts put several assessments, which determined the average in the category and then the overall rating of the city. The importance of each category for the life of man, take into account that analysts of the magazine. So, stability in the city, according to experts, in 25% of the total rating. They tolerate the situation in the East of the country to the capital, so despite the calm and security on the streets of our city, we have a low rating – 35 points,” – said Klitschko.

According to the mayor, this rating is a projection of the experts on what is happening in the country.

“Besides, judging by the rating of the cost of living in Kiev is included in top 10 most attractive cities in the world, so we invite the experts of “The Economist” to visit and we will prove to them that Kiev is one of the best cities in the world!” – said Klitschko.
