Sytnik said of the “sabotage” by the Ukrainian courts in the cases of SAP and NABOO
Director of the NABU Artem Sytnik said that in the courts of Ukraine is carried out full sabotage cases brought before the National anti-corruption Bureau and the Specialized anticorruption Prosecutor’s office.
He said this in an interview with Radio Liberty.
“Complete sabotage on the part of the judiciary. It’s really a huge problem. Business months of just not listening in court,” he says.
According to Sytnyk, from about 80 cases, which NABS SAP and sent to the court, consideration of each of the fourth still has not started. There are only a few sentences, most of which relate to minor participants in corruption schemes.
He also said that some cases are not considered.

“And quite simple things that just lie there without a solution. The only way out of this that we have said a thousand times, is the creation of an anti-corruption court, which is to listen to this”, – said Sytnik.
The head of the NAB said that “the fall will be the test for our government to do the political will” to create anti-corruption court.
He noted that delaying the process in the courts is worse than an acquittal.
“That is, judges, on the one hand, afraid to make acquittals, but used delaying tactic to maximize discredit NABU and SAP,” said the head of the NABOO.

In addition, he reported that of the more than 80 cases, the investigation of which from the NABOO completed, there is not a single verdict in cases in which there is a procedural struggle between the defense and the prosecution.

The head of the NAB believes that the judges are under pressure to brakes the consideration of cases submitted to the NEB and SAP.
