In Ukraine concluded a steady growth in cashless payments. Especially with the help of Bank cards.
In the first half of this year the share of cashless payments in the total volume of operations using payment cards in Ukraine was 38.1%, increased from the beginning of the year almost 3% (both by number and by volume). It is reported by the national Bank.
The total number of transactions using payment cards issued by Ukrainian banks for the first half amounted to 1.43 billion pieces, and their volume – more 908 billion. Compared to the first half of 2016 increased by respectively 23% and 28%.
Also there has been a steady growth is non – cash payments by number of transactions by 30% and volume by 40% compared to the same period last year.

According to the results of the first half of 2017, compared with the beginning of the year increased the total number of:
– active payment cards by 0.8% and amounted to 32.6 million;
– payment cards with magnetic stripe and chip – more than two times and amounted to 8.1 million units;
– contactless payment cards – by 12.4% and amounted to almost 2.3 million units.
0.9% (1261 items) increased the number of terminals where you can pay with a credit card. Now in Ukraine more than 147 thousand.
Grew 6.8% and the number of Bank devices of self – service to 36.2 million units, of which 18.5 thousand ATMs, 1,2 thousand – Deposit ATMs, 16.5 thousand – ptks (software and hardware self-service).
The network of payment terminals in the first half rose by almost 6.5% and has more than 234 thousand terminals.
