Germany will allocate 1.5 million euros for humanitarian aid to Ukraine

Germany allocates additional EUR 1.5 million in humanitarian aid to Ukraine.

It is reported the German Embassy in Kiev.

The money will be allocated to support the project emergency UN Children’s Fund UNICEF.

Assistance is provided to that part of the population that requires special protection and suffering from the conflict in the Donbas: infants, children, and their mothers, youth and elderly people.

First of all we are talking about improving medical, psychological and social care, ensuring quality drinking water, but also on measures to improve sanitary conditions.

In 2017, Germany in General, provided more than 26 million euros in the field of humanitarian assistance. The total volume of German support of humanitarian aid projects around the world amounts to 1.4 billion euros.
