EBRD started to look for companies that will build a recycling plant in Lviv
The European Bank for reconstruction and development (EBRD) announced the launch of the first phase of the project “Solid waste Lviv” – began a search for companies that will build a recycling plant. The total project cost is 35 million euros.
Companies-winners of the contest will have to be Gribovichi reclamation of the landfill and build a plant for mechanical-biological waste processing. Operators of the project are listed Lviv city Council and Lviv municipal enterprise “Green city”. This writes Zaxid.net.
“From the time of publication of the advertisement (half days) I had applied for about 10 international companies with a desire to participate in the project of constructing garbage recycling plant in Lviv. It’s a German, an Italian company, is the Dutch”, – said the Director of LKP “Green city” Vadim Nostril.
The tenders will be announced in the fourth quarter of this year.
“We hope to announce two tenders – one for the reclamation of old landfills, another – actually on the construction waste recycling plant. Now all the companies that agreed, I would like to take part in the construction of the plant. Those wishing to take up the reclamation of yet,” said Vadim Nostril.
Of EUR 35 million EUR 10 million is provided for reclamation Hrybovychi landfill. This is a non-refundable grant from EBRD. Another 25 million euros for the construction of a waste recycling plant on the territory of Lviv CHP-2. The development of the project of the plant has already completed the specialists of the French company Egis, also by a grant of the French government.
