Two months without government regulation: how to change prices on soprodukta
During July and August, when Ukraine abolished state regulation of prices for social products, food prices have steadily increased. Dropping only a seasonal vegetables, which, as experts predict, will add to the price fall.
Most significantly, the prices of eggs – by 41.5%, to UAH average of 16.86 per dozen. Chicken has become more expensive by almost a fifth and is 54 UAH per kilogram. Fat gained 15% and is over 51 UAH. Pork and beef went up by 3-4 UAH. Such data are cited by the State statistics service.
