The government explained why the ATO does not call war the act on the reintegration of Donbass
The bill on the reintegration of Donbass provides for the replacement of the term “anti-terrorist operation” on the term “operation on defence of Ukraine”.

The term “war” officials are deliberately not included in the bill because, in their opinion, it will only help Russia.
“We can call it a war. Then actually we declare war on Russia. Today Russia said that “we are not there”. But when we declare war, we begin to “get” everything that can offer the Russian defense industry: tanks, artillery, aircraft, rockets, and more. It is necessary for us?” said Grimchak.

The Deputy Minister noted that the bill would make changes regarding peacekeepers in the Donbass, but this will be done after the session of the UN General Assembly.
“After the UN General Assembly and will be clear how we will make the peacekeepers, we will make changes…” – said the Grimchak.
The official expects the bill on the reintegration of Donbass will be introduced to Parliament before the end of September.
