In the Kremlin to comment on the draft of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko on the deployment of peacekeepers in the Donbas.
This was stated press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov, RIA Novosti reported.
“Any peacekeepers can be placed at the point of contact between the conflicting parties with the consent of the parties. As you know, Russia is not a party to this conflict, the conflict in the South-East of Ukraine in the first place be discussed between Kiev and the authorities of the republics – the “LNR” and “DNR”, so perhaps this is the main modality that it would be foolish to reject illogical and abstract. This is the first and primary condition of any of peacekeepers,” – said Peskov.

During preliminary telephone conversations of the leaders of the “Normandy format”, he stressed on the need for the introduction in the Donbass UN peacekeeping mission with the mandate of the UN security Council.
Russia gave the United Nations a draft resolution on the placement of the peacekeeping mission in the Donbas. According to Russia’s permanent envoy to the UN, Vasily Nebens, soon the experts of the member countries of the UN Security Council will examine the text of the resolution, and next week, after the return of the permanent representatives of Ethiopia, will begin the main phase of the negotiations.
