On the demarcation line in the Donbas may occur ecological disaster – because the militants are constant attacks on industrial facilities, which the Ukrainian side can not be repaired.
“The militants continue to hamper the recovery process of the infrastructure of Donbass. At the moment urgent repair needs strengthening disaster protection dam on phenol plant in Novgorod and gas branches in the Marinka and the Crimean. These facilities are in close approximation to the demarcation line. The failure of the restoration work can lead to the aggravation of the humanitarian situation and the threat of pollution of the adjacent soil on both sides of the demarcation line,” – noted in the press center of staff ATO.
Meanwhile, from Russia to the Donbass and back one and a half times has increased the flow of trucks and trains.
