According to Zeman, if Ukraine does not agree to compensate, will start the “European war”. According to him, war is inevitable in the case of a continuing effort to return the Crimea.

It is worth noting that when he was supposed to put a question , the representative of Ukraine in PACE Vladislav Golub, Gail closed the meeting, although to the end was five minutes.

Golub himself on his page in Facebook commented on the performance of Zeman.

“Unfortunately for me ended with the opportunity to ask “devil’s advocate” to the Czech President Zeman. I believe that it is not a coincidence, but I will leave your question here, especially after Zeman expressed his vision that Crimea is lost to Ukraine, and Ukraine may need to compensated for it, or money, or oil, or gas, and Putin has 80% support of the population of the Russian Federation and this must be considered,” wrote the Deputy.

He also said Zeman’s history with the annexation by Nazi Germany in part of the territory of the Czech Republic.

When Hitler annexed the Sudetenland (the mountainous system in the Czech Republic – ed.) and His support in Germany was 90%, and населениt the Czech Republic, which did not agree with the annexation, spent the rest of his life in the concentration camps. But I have two simple and clear question: do you consider Russia as the aggressor? How much would you take money, oil or gas to the Nazis for their annexation, if you were the President of the Czech Republic at that time?” – written by Golub.

TSN.ia collected the response of other Ukrainian politicians and figures on the scandalous statement of the President of the Czech Republic.

Permanent representative of Ukraine to the Council of Europe Dmitry Kuleba said that Zeman is the only actor and there are Directors “Raszyn comeback” in PACE.

“This session was designed under the campaign for the return of the Russians. Directors Rushen comeback, which previously kept behind the scenes, come to light. Risk, but well worth it. Zeman not one of them. He was always for Russia. Today, he was just an artist, who is brought to the forefront to create the right atmosphere and to mobilize people who are still undecided regarding the return of the Russians”, – he said.

Kuleba also recalled that Czech President Milos Zeman has always supported Russia, and said Crimea is not for sale.

“But the main in this game is not an artist, and filmmakers. We know them. They know that we know them. They deal their blows. We – the. When they met in the hallways we smile at each other. The situation is complicated as ever. The stakes are raised to the maximum. The game continues”, – said the Ambassador.

In turn, the first Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Irina Gerashchenko wrote on his page in Facebook that the current session of the parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe is one of the most difficult, because it involved manipulation and lies.

“Actually, this is one of the most difficult and the most challenging sessions of the Assembly. Because when there is black and white – very easy to convince colleagues to be on the light side. And at that session, fully involved elements of the hybrid war – manipulation, outright misrepresentation, a lie. This session is held under the sign of the evil eye, demands, blackmail, brainwashing about the necessity of returning of the Russian delegation,” she wrote.

In her words, “a puppet Agramunt (former President of PACE Pedro Agramunt – ed.) broke, so on the scene pulled the new doll”.

“Zeman, who in a sinister European silence speaks of megapopulation Putin, who is supported by 80% of Russians (Hitler, when he tore the Czech Republic, and Brezhnev, when he sent tanks to Prague, supported the 90% silent population)… Yangland, which openly says that the PACE needs to choose between membership fees of the Russian Federation (and it is a comfortable life staff, who are accustomed to comfort) or principles that are so laborious to perform. Attempts to split the EPP group, which supported anti-Russian to the post of Emanuel Zingeris, but here joined during Cypriote Stella Kyriakides who had not spoken about the aggressive policy of the Russian Federation, has no position, and a lot of the PACE delegates vote for the President no position on Russia, because it is convenient,” – said Gerashchenko.

The people’s Deputy of Ukraine, Vice-President of the parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe George Legwinski believes that after the scandalous statements of the Czech President about the Crimea such provocations may occur in the future. He stated this on the sidelines of the PACE fall session in the commentary, which was broadcast channel Newsone.

”I think the invitation and the speech that the President was no accident. After losing such important pillars of Russian propaganda in this hall Mr. (Pedro) Agramunt now there will be new heroes that will try make up for something, to grab something… We know, so we can easily oppose it,” said Logvinsky.

In his opinion, Zeman ”humiliated in the first place itself”, saying that the annexation of Crimea is ”completed.” Legwinski believes that the words of Zeman needs to be rephrased to appeal to the international community to arrest the Russian assets and to increase pressure on Russia.

”I probably would have treated right the call of the President of the Czech Republic in order to arrest the Russian assets, select their property and return it to those people who really have lost it, and suffered”, – said the MP.

”I think that Mr. Zeman just confused the words. It is not just about some kind of payment, but rather, he wanted to say that we are talking about compensation and reparation, that is, every day Russia pumps our gas, every day Russia in our territory earns the money,” he said.

According to him, Russia not only needs to return Crimea to Ukraine, but also to pay for economic damages.

”In any case, at any level of the policy we will not tolerate someone said that you can buy territory, people to buy, to rent them out… So when we say that Russia should compensate for the huge losses of Ukraine by its aggressive actions, it really is true, and it is necessary to arrest the assets of the Russian Federation around the world. You need to find all the possibilities to ensure that the money stolen from our country back,” – said Logvinsky.

”We must understand that we do not trade its own territory and its own people”, – said the Deputy.

Legwinski also stressed that the Ukrainian delegation in PACE will make an official statement about the words of Zeman.

The Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin in his Twitter wrote that the Czech President Milos Zeman do not fix to offers and to oppose those who invited him to speak at the session of the parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, during which he stated that Ukraine should negotiate with Russia about oil and gas or financial compensation for the stolen Crimea.

“Leave Zeman, it is not correct. In the theater there are Directors and there are actors. Those who invited him to the speech, knew what he would say. With them and have to fight,” he said.

Head of the Center for Russian studies, former Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine (2007-2009) Volodymyr Ohryzko in the comments UNIAN said the Czech President miloš Zeman when he offered Ukraine to negotiate with Russia regarding oil and gas or financial compensation for the annexed Crimea, worked off the money the Kremlin.

“It is impossible to comment on, it’s just political nonsense. It is clear that he is sitting on the money of the Kremlin and so he just had to earn it,” said he.

Ohryzko noted that the Czech government, which determines the basic line of the country’s foreign policy, its consistent position regarding support for the territorial integrity of Ukraine.

“To the realities of his (Zeman) statements are irrelevant, especially because the Czech government that understands what the international law is and what to break, and is a perfectly adequate position and disavowed many times, I think it will be this time, the so-called “statements” of the President of the Czech Republic,” added the former Minister.

Political Analyst Volodymyr Tsybulko Espresso.TV reported that President miloš Zeman suffers from alcohol dependence and a political outcast.

“Zeman is a known alcoholic and a political freak, because when European leaders do not allow themselves to meet with Putin, that landed on the short leg with him,” he said.

Tsybulko added, moreover, that the Czech President is a Communist, the institution of the presidency in the Czech Republic today is fairly symbolic.

“It should be noted that the Czech government and Prime Minister to cooperate with Ukraine in all matters openly and responsibly. The Executive power of the Czech Republic is a great friend of Ukraine”, – added the analyst.

Deputy Chairman of the speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Oksana Syroid said that the President of Ukraine and the Ministry of foreign Affairs should contact the heads of the countries-members of EU on the speech of the President of Czech Republic Milos Zeman in PACE.

“I have a very simple question to the President of the Czech Republic: how much he is willing to sell a part of its territory? I’m not willing to bargain. If he is willing, let him put up the menu and show you how much he is willing to sell their territory. Should be the reaction of the President and the Ministry of foreign Affairs. Moreover, I believe that there should be an appeal of the President to the heads of the EU countries on this issue,” she said in the broadcast channel “112 Ukraine”.

Ukraine’s Ambassador to the Czech Republic Yevhen perebyinis in comments to Czech publication, However, stated that the proposal of the President of Czech Republic Milos Zeman is a cynical and unacceptable, writes the Ukrainian truth.

“We note with concern the statement of the Czech President Zeman, who in fact has offered Ukraine to accept the occupation of Crimea by Russia and to obtain from her some financial compensation,” he said.

He stressed that the proposal is cynical, because Ukraine needs to come to terms not only with the loss of its territory, but also agree that the persecution of Ukrainians and Crimean Tatars in Crimea Russian occupiers will continue.

“It is a pity that these words are from the President of the Czech Republic, which, unfortunately, also had in its history, the experience of occupation and repression,” – said Perebiynis.

“I would first like to say that Crimea is the territory of Ukraine, and it was recognized by the whole civilized world, despite the fact that someone wants to convince the world of the other. I would like to stress that Ukraine does not sell and never will sell its territory, Ukraine will never trade their citizens and freedom”, – he said.

Perebiynis also noted that the statement of Zeman also contradicts the official position of the Czech government.
