Ukraine almost completed the storage gas for the heating season
As of mid-October Ukraine almost reached the indices of fullness of the underground gas storages (UGS), which planned to have at the beginning of the heating season the Ministry of energy and coal industry.
About it reports the edition “Radio Freedom” referring to the operator of the gas transportation system of Ukraine the state company “Ukrtransgaz”.
“Natural gas reserves in Ukrainian underground storage facilities as of 14 October amounted to 16 billion 771 million cubic meters”, – assure of the company.

The Minister of energy and coal industry Igor Nasalik announced plans savings of 1 October 2017 17 billion cubic meters during the heating season 2017-2018.
In preparation for the past heating period, the relevant Ministry has also insisted on the need to accumulate 17 billion cubic meters of gas, but the management of “Naftogaz of Ukraine” claimed that 14.5 billion cubic meters would be sufficient. As a result, during the heating season the period of 2016-2017 years, Ukraine was included with the reserves of “blue fuel” at the level of 14.7 and finished the season at 8.4 billion cubic meters.
