“Marshall plan for Ukraine”: European Commissioner Hahn received a major bailout
The Commissioner, Johannes Hahn received the project of large-scale financial assistance to Ukraine, better known as “the Marshall plan“

“I received a “Marshall plan” from the Minister of foreign Affairs of Lithuania,” he said.
However, Gan was not clearly predict whether approved this document, and were skeptical about the need for his approval.
“Now everyone and everywhere talk about the “Marshall plan”, we can say that there is “inflation Marshall plan” – has plans for Africa, to Ukraine, to somebody else,” said he.
In the opinion of the Commissioner, the Commission has the necessary tools for supporting Ukraine and assured that the money will be allocated solely to the requirements of the reform.
“We are ready to give money, but we won’t give them without clear criteria. Sorry to have to say it, but trust level is not very high, and therefore we pay when something was done,” he said.
The Commissioner also believes that to attract investment do not need the plan, and changes in the business climate in Ukraine.
“Ukraine is on the 80th place of business attractiveness. That is, Ukraine has a lot to do to make its business environment more attractive,” he explained.
We will remind, “the Marshall Plan for Ukraine” is an initiative of the Republic of Lithuania to help Ukraine in the years 2017-2020, providing for, among other things, the economic, financial and investment support, including the strengthening of the strategic dialogue Ukraine – the countries of the West to ensure Ukraine’s European integration. Initiative “Marshall Plan for Ukraine” envisages investment in the real sector of Ukraine’s economy and support of reforms aimed at economic growth, creation of new instruments for financing investments and support small and medium-sized businesses.
