Tusk argues that after the proclamation of independence for Catalonia, the EU will not change anything
The President of the European Council Donald Tusk said that after the proclamation of the independence of Catalonia to the EU, nothing changes.
He said this in a private Twitter.
“For the EU, nothing changes. Spain remains our only mediator. I hope that the Spanish government will use the force of argument, not argument of force,” – said Tusk.

The Catalan Parliament on Friday, October 27, voted for the resolution which formally declares independence from Spain. It is noted that “for” voted 70 deputies, against were 10, with two abstentions.
