Chronicle of ATO per day: 17 attacks, one killed and five wounded fighters

For Tuesday, October 31, in the area of ATO in the Donbas the militants of 17 times fired at positions of the Ukrainian army.

“The predominant fire from infantry weapons ATO forces 13 times inhibited the activity of mercenaries. As a result of combat action one Ukrainian soldier killed, five more got wounds”, – stated in the press center of staff ATO.

Of the deceased know that it is Georgian volunteer regiment “Azov” George Saralidze (call sign “Gyurza-2”). According to preliminary information, during the fighting on the territory adjacent to Donetsk airport, a group of Ukrainian soldiers were ambushed, and during this battle were killed the commander of the reconnaissance George Saralidze. He was a participant in the war in Abkhazia and Samachablo. Saralidze, helped the Ukrainian military in the fight against the Russian invaders from the date of the commencement of hostilities. In the area of the ATO, Saralidze arrived in early 2015.
