In a private company take more than 200 thousand hryvnias for illegal party funding
Private company “Scientific technical center ALVIGO will be taken to the state 208 thousand UAH. The firm in November last year, listed charitable contributions of the two amounts for 104 thousand UAH at the expense of “the Agrarian party of Ukraine”. However, had no right to do that.
“The founder of the society is JSC “ALVIGO”, the ultimate beneficial owners (controllers) which as of the date of implementation of the contributions are foreigners — a citizen of Russia and a citizen of Estonia. These facts were revealed in March 2017, during the analysis of the report of the political party about assets, income, expenses and obligations of financial nature, was confirmed by a corresponding act. The party returned the contributions, but under the law, the violation of the procedure for contribution to support a political party entails imposition of penalty with confiscation of the amount contributed for the support of political parties provided by or received in violation of the law”, – said the Chairman of the National Agency for prevention of corruption Natalia Korchak.
