Petro Poroshenko has supported the replacement of the income tax. It was announced during a business forum in Kiev.

President of Ukraine believes that the introduction of a tax on the capital will stimulate the inflow of investments.

“This has a huge anti-corruption value, a huge simplification of doing business, cost reduction and translation of the absolute majority of Ukrainian companies potentially those who could be accused of any criminal steps absolute clean, bright and transparent,” the President said.

Poroshenko also noted the existence of risks related to the reduction of revenue to the state budget as a result of the adoption of this law.

According to him, losses in state budget can be from 20 to 23 billion UAH.

The President also believes that it is necessary to provide appropriate compensatory measures that reduce the negative impact on social programs and the state budget.

Poroshenko said that now the biggest threat to the state budget is the large number of bogus schemes that the companies use to avoid payment of tax. And if approved, the tax on the capital of the concealment of profits just will not make sense.

According to the President, this transition is important for Ukraine. After all, this innovation will facilitate the flow of investment and make it easier to obtain loans.

“It is a powerful injection in order to stimulate economic growth,” he said.

Petro Poroshenko is convinced that over time this will positively affect GDP growth and, as a consequence of the increase in state revenues.
