Lutsenko has denied the legislative “war” between the NABOO and the GPU

The Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko said that the attorney General’s office of Ukraine and the National anti-corruption Bureau , there is no “war”.

He stated this during his speech in the Verkhovna Rada.

“The issue on which I was invited to the Verkhovna Rada is a matter of integrity and legality of the law enforcement system of Ukraine. It seems to me that we have to discuss it with all the first persons who present to the GPU, the SBU, NABU and SAP. With all due respect to the Deputy or the acting heads of these agencies I believe that the continuation of the practice of NABOO first to open fire on discrediting anyone who dares to raise the question of the legality of this structure, it is necessary to stop. The only thing I would say is to deny the running of the press service of NABOO myth about the war between the GPU and the National anti-corruption Bureau”, – he stressed.

Lutsenko also said that he is one of the sponsors of the law on NABOO and other anti-corruption laws and assured that “in his post done, are doing and will do everything to all law enforcement agencies worked effectively in opposition to corruption and crime”.

“Of the 50 cases that this year the NEB was able to send to the court, 20 on materials SBU and GPU. It only shows that we are working together where the law allows you to go forward together”, – concluded the Prosecutor.

We will remind, on November 29 it became known about detention of the agent of NABOO by the SBU, which had received permission from the GPO. We are talking about the transfer of 15 thousand dollars Dina Emahool, first Deputy Chairman of the State migration service. The SMS said that “for several months, agent of NABU, the son of former people’s Deputy from Party of regions Yury Boyarsky, executing illegal instructions of individual heads of NABOO, repeatedly tried to provoke Dean Pimanova, offering large bribes for acceptance of illegal decisions on legalization in Ukraine citizens of Vietnam and Iran, which did not even exist in reality.”

To NAB the actions of the SBU and the GPU is called “diversion”. According to the report, the essence of “sabotage” is that officials of the SBU, allegedly using information that became known to them in the course of execution of official duties (implementation of listening of telephone numbers under investigation NABS), “not just disclose this information to one of the objects of secret investigative actions, undoing six-month detectives NABOO, but was recruited this person for further illegal pressure and criminal prosecution of employees of the National Bureau”.

Washington called these actions an attempt “to undermine an independent anti-corruption institutions”, which the United States and other countries provided support.
