Russia equips, directs, trains and fights with the separatists in the Donbas – Tillerson

Russia is arming, leading and fighting on the side of the militants in the East of Ukraine. So says U.S. Secretary of state Rex Tillerson, said in the story TSN.19:30.

At the meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council in Vienna, the American, sharply criticized Moscow’s actions. The chief US diplomat once again stressed that Russia did not withdraw troops from the Donbas and continues the occupation of Crimea, so the lifting of sanctions speech does not go. “Russia equips, directs, trains and fights with anti-government forces. We urge Russia and its henchmen to stop the harassment, intimidation and attacks on the special monitoring mission of the OSCE,” – said Tillerson.

Tillerson Ukrainian counterpart, foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin added that while the world is talking about returning to the days of the cold war on Ukrainian soil Russia is waging real war. “Russia is waging a war against us, against Europe and European values. Fighting Russian troops without insignia, but with tanks and weapons on the Ukrainian land”, – said Mr. Klimkin.

As previously reported, the United States believes that Russia’s aggression in Ukraine threatens the security of the whole of Europe. “Russian aggression in Ukraine remains the biggest threat to European security and requires a permanent transatlantic unity in confronting this threat. Our allies in NATO strongly supports Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. We do not accept the efforts of Russia, which is trying to change the internationally recognized borders of Ukraine, and does not recognize Russia’s illegal occupation of Crimea by Russia,” – said Tillerson.
