The national guard should be ready to take control of the situation in the occupied part of Ukraine – Avakov
The national guard should be ready to take control of the situation in temporarily occupied territories in the framework of the peace plan for de-occupation.
This was stated by interior Minister Arsen Avakov during a military Council of National guard of Ukraine today, December 14.

“Guards, and other law enforcement agencies, will always be out of politics. Its task is to protect the rights and freedoms of citizens, to ensure public order and prevent illegal activity. They should also be ready to take control of the situation in temporarily occupied territories in the framework of the peace plan for de-occupation”, – he said.
Earlier Avakov said that the Ukrainian government has a very specific plan for Donbass, which will be implemented in the case, “if the will of the Putin regime to the actual settlement will take place under the onslaught of the West.” According to him, this plan does not provide for concessions to Putin’s regime.
