“Bullied”: the transgender activist said the beating from the guards club in Kiev

Transgender activist Anastasiya Kristel Domani said the beating from the guards of the club “LIFT” in Kiev.

She wrote about this in Facebook.

“Protection club “LIFT” I was beaten and robbed last night! All together mocked in full. The police showed extreme transphobia,” — said the activist.

The eyewitness events and human rights activist Sofia Lapina said the “Public radio” that the conflict began when Domani the club lost things. Together they asked the guard, but they said that withdraw from the club.

According to Lapina, four guards dragged Domani from the club. Attempt to call the administrator failed, so she called the police.

The human rights activist says that the police saw to Domani used violence, “but idle, and laughed at the Anastasia and her documents, which indicates a male name.”

Lawyer transgender activist Oksana GUZ reported that they have already written the corresponding application to the police.

In a press-service of national police of Kiev and patrol police of Kiev declined to comment on the incident.
