In 2018 in Ukraine will start working state enterprise “energy efficiency Fund”, whose activities in the state budget provided UAH 2 billion.

The appropriate status of the company today, 20 December, approved by the government at its meeting. About it writes “Interfax-Ukraine”.

“Today approved the long-awaited Charter, the long-awaited document, which we were all in 2017, creating legislation, working with international partners, including great support received from the Ukrainian Parliament, – the energy efficiency Fund,” said Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman.

According to the law On “energy efficiency Fund”, it is created to support initiatives on energy efficiency, the introduction of tools to stimulate and support the implementation of measures for improving energy efficiency of buildings and energy saving, including in the residential sector.

The Fund may receive from governments, agencies, and institutions of foreign States and international financial organizations, financial contributions and assistance in the form of targeted grants or other means on the basis of the agreement. The Foundation provides independent and transparent and separate accounting of such contributions and assistance in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine.
