The OSCE mission has confirmed the release of the Russian officers from SCCC

Special monitoring mission of the OSCE confirmed the release of the Russian side of the Joint center for control and coordination of ceasefire and stabilization of the line of contact in Donbas.

This is stated in the report, published on Tuesday, December 19.

“In the Donetsk region, the SMM confirmed reports that 5 offices JCCC members of the Armed forces of the Russian Federation at the JCCC ceased to perform their duties. 18 December, observers called on the service phone numbers JCCC in “DPR” – controlled village of Aleksandrovka and Yasinovataya, and told them the persons who were presented by the staff “of the Ministry of emergency situations”, – said the OSCE.

“In “DPR” – controlled debaltseve in a phone call said mission person, which was presented by the representative of the “LPR” in the “contact group”, – stated in the report.

We will remind that earlier the Russian officers of the composition SCCC crossed the border with Ukraine and returned to Russia.

We will remind, on December 18 the foreign Ministry of Russia has announced the withdrawal of Russian JCCC representatives from the Donbass. As their representatives, allegedly, “has faced serious difficulties because of the position of the Ukrainian authorities.” The Ministry of foreign Affairs of Ukraine called the move another provocation.

“Russia withdrew its officers from SCCC, which is a tool of the establishment of the cease-fire just prior to violent escalation of violations of ceasefire. Only Ukraine suffered some of the worst fighting, from February 2017. The decision about the world depends on Russia,” – wrote in Twitter, the special envoy of the US State Department on Affairs Kurt Volker.

The joint center for control and coordination of ceasefire and stabilization of the demarcation line was established in 2014 with headquarters in the Donetsk region. It was a joint group of Ukrainian and Russian officers, who controlled the observance of the Minsk agreements.

The Ukrainian JCCC representatives in the Donbas also on December 19 left the occupied part of the profit to Soledar, located on the territory controlled by Ukraine.
