The national Bank says that the Outlook for Ukraine’s GDP will not come true and it will be worse

The growth of GDP of Ukraine in the third quarter this year was 2.1%. This is 0.2% less than in the second and 2.3%.

The national Bank concluded that the rate of growth of real GDP consistent with the estimate published in the Inflation report in October 2017.

“Given the lower expectations, the harvest of late crops and industrial crops, as well as a high base of comparison last year, the decline in agriculture in the fourth quarter of 2017 may be more significant than expected. As a consequence, increased the risks that the growth of real GDP by the end of 2017 may be somewhat lower than the forecast published in the Inflation report for October,” – said the NBU.

Note that the regulator had expected growth of the economy of Ukraine at the level of 2.2%.

Earlier , the NBU also noted that inflation in Ukraine was higher than its forecasts.
