Klimkin told how to work towards the Russians next year
From 1 January 2018 and will work towards the entry of foreigners to Ukraine, in particular, and for citizens of the Russian Federation. Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin explained that the visa regime is introduced in order to combat illegal immigration, and Ukraine with Russia no such problem. It was therefore installed a biometric control.

The Minister said in the broadcast “snidanok z 1+1”.
“First, the biometrics, then the statement that they will call in on our territory, then it is the control on our territory”, – he explained the mechanism of entry of Russians in Ukraine. The Minister said that from January 1 to earn a first biometric stage.
Klimkin noted that if this mechanism generally does not work, then there will be a need for the introduction of the visa regime with biometric passports.
Recall, September 2, entered into force the decree of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko on the introduction from 2018 biometric controls for entry into the country of foreigners, in particular citizens of the Russian Federation.
