No direct threats to bezveza no – Klimkin

In six months action bezveza 61 Ukrainian was not allowed on the territory of the Schengen countries: they either had problems with the documents or criminal records in the countries of the European Union.

This was announced by foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin in the air “Sedanka z 1+1”.

According to him, overall it has about 400 thousand Ukrainians took advantage of bezveza.

“No direct threats to this (bezveza – ed) no. No one bezviz the day after tomorrow, the Ukrainians will not be taken away. But what is promised (European partners – ed.) is to be performed. I remember we did a visa-free plan. And the creation of anti-corruption bodies was part of the plan. But if we have fulfilled the plan, then it operates”, – said the Minister.

He noted that there are issues to completion the whole anti-corruption system, in particular, to the creation of an anti-corruption court.

“Now she neokoncheno,” stated Klimkin.

The Minister noted that the reaction of the EU to the problem with the anti-corruption bodies in Ukraine is a Wake-up call, but “for bezveza today, there is no threat”.

We will remind, earlier in Brussels, said that the actions of the GPU on failure of the special operation to NAB undermine confidence in the effective fight against corruption. The EU stressed that the Ukrainian government must intensify efforts to ensure the independence and effectiveness of anti-corruption institutions. As you know, this was one of the conditions of the visa-free regime.

The scandal surrounding the anti-corruption bodies erupted after the security Service of Ukraine detained the agent NABOO Sergei instead during the attempt of transfer of a bribe of the first Deputy Chairman of the LCA Dini Emahool. NABU said the failure of the special operation involving an undercover agent. Subsequently, searches were conducted at the agent, “Catherine”, which became known for its “amber case”, the persons who are members Rosenblatt and Poles. The woman advised the agent instead, because already had experience of undercover work.
