The Ministry of social policy have recorded a decrease in the number of poor in Ukraine

The Minister of social policy of Ukraine Andriy Reva, said that the country reduced the number of people whose income is less than the real cost of living.

“According to the State statistics service and in accordance with methods used by international organizations that assess the level of poverty in the country, the poverty rate in Ukraine fell to 39.4% from 54.5%,” – said the head of the Ministry of social policy.

He also added that among the Ukrainians that work, the number of people with incomes below the subsistence level fell from 45,4% to 26.1%.
