Debt in billions. The Ukrainians have not paid for almost a third of the payment for communal November

Just in November of 2017, the Ukrainians paid 70.6% of the accrued monthly amounts for utility services, namely 6.5 billion hryvnia.

This was reported by UNIAN with reference to information of the State statistics service of Ukraine.

Thus, for the month, the Ukrainians have not paid for almost a third of the payroll.

In particular, the debt of the population to pay for the centralized heating and hot water increased by 29.7% in comparison with the figure for the end of October and amounted to 9.6 billion USD.

According to state statistics, in November, the Ukrainians paid for electricity 2.6 billion hryvnia. The debt of the population was 3.5 billion.

In addition, the increase in arrears in the maintenance of houses, constructions and house adjoining territories and amounted to 3 billion UAH debt for export of household waste

Debt for centralized water supply and Sewerage decreased by 5% compared to October and amounted to 1900 million.

The most important contributors was Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi and Vinnitsa oblast. Least of all payroll paid in Sumy (48, 8%), Odessa (54.3%) and Luhansk (55.4 per cent) regions.

We will remind that earlier, on 9 November, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted a new law “On housing and communal services”, which aimed at de-monopolization of the market of housing and communal services. The new law on housing and communal services will enter into force three months after its official publication.
