Militants continue attacks in Donbas. Chronicle of the ATO

For Wednesday, January 3, in the area of ATO in the Donbas the ceasefire has not come. The militants five times shelled the positions of Ukrainian army – no one was injured or killed.

This is stated in the summary of the press center of staff ATO.

All attacks, as in previous days, was recorded in the Donetsk area. In particular, in the suburb of Avdeevka fighters fired at strong points of grenade launchers of various types and heavy machine guns. Around Marinka was released 4 mines 82 caliber. Mortars of the same caliber and grenade launchers fired on defensive fortifications near the mine Butovka. On the sea of Azov, near the Water, actually used the whole Arsenal of infantry weapons – grenade launchers of various types and heavy machine guns. In the same area, but near Shyrokyne, the militants violated the ceasefire with small-arms.

Ukrainian soldiers kept the peace and the return fire was not opened.

Recall that the observation mission of the OSCE recorded hundreds of explosions in the area of ATO for the new year’s weekend.
