Poroshenko met with Kuchma and other Ukrainian representatives in the Trilateral contact group

Wednesday evening, January 10, took place the meeting of President Poroshenko with representatives of Ukraine in the Tripartite contact group on peaceful settlement of the situation in the Donbas and its working subgroups.

“They discussed the results of activities of the TAG in the past year and set priorities and targets for 2018. The head of state thanked the representatives of Ukraine in the pipeline for a clear defense of national interests and the professional and dedicated work for the restoration of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine”, – informed the press service of the President.

What they discussed during the meeting, yet it remains a mystery. There, in particular, was to discuss the issue relative to future negotiations regarding the release of all hostages.

In the photo, which is posted on the website of the President, it is clear that among those present, in particular, was the former President of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma, ex-Prime Minister Yevhen Marchuk, first Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Iryna Gerashchenko, Advisor to the President of Ukraine, Director of the National Institute for strategic studies and former NSDC Secretary Volodymyr Horbulin.
