The mobile operator “Vodafone.Ukraine” awaiting permission from the Donetsk obladministratsii, OSCE and SCCC for the repair of damaged communication lines in the Donetsk region, reports “gromadske” with reference to the press-Secretary of company Victoria Ruban.
According to her, 11 January has been damaged trunk cables, on the territory of “DNR” and the Ukrainian-controlled part of Donetsk region was lost.
“One of the damage that can be eliminated is in a gray area. You can troubleshoot it if there is physical access to this area” – said Ruban.
But exactly where it happened, she did not elaborate, because such information can be dangerous to the staff team.
“We would like to reconnect, because that’s where our people live. As I understand it, the Ukrainian operators on the uncontrolled territory left. The vast majority of used Vodafone, and that several millions of people,” she added.
