“The occupiers will not break the Ukrainian spirit”: Poroshenko reacted to the verdict on the conclusion of Baluja
President Petro Poroshenko said that Ukraine will continue to fight for the liberation of Russia-occupied Crimea and all illegally detained on the Peninsula.

Thus the President reacted to the verdict of the Razdolnensky district court in occupied to the Crimea on the Ukrainian activist Volodymyr Baluja.

Also the verdict on the conclusion of Baluja responded the Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin.
“The fake judicial system of the occupying power against powerless people indomitable will. The last word in the court of Vladimir Baloga – installation of a free man to all of us. The perpetrators of this outrage will be punished”, – he wrote in Twitter.

We will remind, today, on January 16 it became known that the Razdolnensky district court in occupied Crimea has sentenced the Ukrainian activist Volodymyr Baluja to 3 years and 7 months of a colony-settlements. In addition, Baluch must pay the penalty amounting to 10 untaxed minimum incomes of citizens (about 4.6 thousand UAH – approx.ed.). During his concluding remarks at the meeting on 15 January Baloch said that the case against him “trumped-up for his political position”, and it does not make love the “new Home”.

The man was sentenced to 3.5 years in prison for possession of ammunition, which, according to defendant, had been planted by employees of the FSB for their active Pro-Ukrainian position. Thus, the Russian FSB arrested Vladimir Baloga 8 December 2016. The Ukrainian was accused of illegal storage of ammunition and explosives that were allegedly found in the attic of his house.
In August 2017 the Ukrainian activist was sentenced to three years and seven months of a colony of General regime and fined. However, during the appeal , the conviction was overturned and sent the case back for retrial.
