Russia has stated that they will not perform some of the PACE resolution

Russia does not intend to carry out some resolution of the parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.

This was before the meeting of the ad hoc Committee of the PACE, said Chairman of the Federation Council Committee for foreign Affairs Konstantin Kosachev.

“Some of the resolutions will not be fulfilled ever. You must clearly understand,” he said.

23 January in Strasbourg the first meeting of the ad-hoc (special) Committee of the PACE, addresses the rules and procedures of the Assembly. The Russian delegation insists that he would agree to return to the PACE just in case changing the rules of Assembly guarantees not applied to the Russian sanctions in the future.

In November last year at the PACE I wanted to hold a debate on lifting of Russia sanctions and the resumption of participation of the Russian delegation in the Assembly. Later, however, the standing Committee of the parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe refused to hold a debate on the return of the Russian Federation in the part of PACE.
