The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko welcomed the extension of sanctions against Russia.

About this he wrote on his page in Facebook.

“I welcome the decision of the U.S. Treasury to further expand the list of sanctions against Russia for its brutal aggression against Ukraine”, – he stressed.

Besides, Poroshenko expressed confidence that sanctions against Russia will intensify until it will not cease hostilities in the Donbas and will not return the annexed Crimea.

“My meetings with us leaders in Davos to give me the confidence that the sanctions policy against Russia will only increase until Ukraine fully restore its territorial integrity,” he said.
