Chubarov urged the Crimean people to “absolute boycott” of the elections of the President of Russia

The head of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Refat Chubarov urged the Crimean people to boycott the election of the President of Russia.

About this he wrote on his page on Facebook on 27 January, commenting on another prosecution of the Crimean Tatar activists from the occupation administration.

Videomemory of the President of Russia was moved to the anniversary of the annexation of Crimea

In Russia starts great political theater. Presidential election campaign started officially. In favor of the new image of Vladimir Putin even changed the date of the election. Stations were supposed to open March 11, but it will happen a week later, the 18th – the anniversary of the annexation of Crimea. Because Putin sees himself not as a fighter against terrorism in Chechnya, and not the sex symbol of Russia, and a collector of land.

On Saturday in Sudak at the meeting of the civil initiative “Crimean solidarity” broke about 60-70 Riot police. They copied the data of everyone who was there.

Chubarov considers this event as another act of intimidation of the Crimean Tatar activists.

“After rallies such as this, each of the few countrymen who, in weakness or cowardice, will appear March 18, 2018 at the polling station will be an outcast forever among his countrymen and co-religionists,” wrote the head of the Mejlis.
