Named the date of the opening of the renovated House of trade unions on the Maidan

In Kiev on Independence square on March 1 will open the facade of the House of trade unions, which suffered serious damage during the revolution of Dignity.

This was reported by “UKRINFORM”, the press centre of the Federation of trade unions of Ukraine.

“On March 1 will open the facade of the House of trade unions. And interior work will continue,” – said the head of the press center Yury Work.

The building will house restaurants or entertainment centres, but are provided to make room for the Museum of the Revolution. As for repairs in the middle of the House of trade unions, their plan to complete the Independence Day, i.e. till August 24.

In Kyiv House of trade unions during the revolution of Dignity was the headquarters of the protesters. The clashes on February 18-19, 2014, the building burned down completely, was hit by a construction between the 4 and 5 floors. Only 20 February, managed to extinguish the fire in the building, and after inspection they found the body of a man.
