The level of impact of corruption on business has pushed Ukraine in 2014 – poll

This is evidenced by the American chamber of Commerce in Ukraine (ACC), which conducted a survey of top managers of more than 180 domestic and foreign companies, the correspondent of TSN Ivan Vorobyov.
Respondents were asked three key questions. The first question is “do you feel that corrupt practices are widespread in Ukraine?”showed positive dynamics in comparison with 2014. However, this is unlikely to be taken with optimism, because the number of businessmen who answered “Yes”, it is still high and reaches 96%.

Among the obstacles in the fight against corruption in the first place was the lack of political will (63%), followed by the resistance of the judges during the examination of corruption cases (16%).

However, this is probably insufficient, because the number of anti-corruption optimists is decreasing every year. So, in 2015, they were 51% among respondents, in 2016 – already 47 per cent, and in 2017 – 42%.
