In the Donbas, gunmen killed a Ukrainian soldier. Chronicle of the ATO
For Wednesday, January 31, in the area of ATO in the Donbas gunmen opened fire at positions of the Ukrainian army. During one of them died a fighter.
This is stated in the summary of the press center of staff ATO.
“For today the Russian militants occupying groups continued to violate the ceasefire. In Donetsk direction the enemy with heavy machine guns and small arms fired at our positions in the suburbs of Avdeevka. On the sea of Azov with small arms, the enemy committed provocation near Pavlopol. In General, since the beginning of the day recorded 2 attacks the strongholds of ATO forces from the illegal armed groups. Unfortunately, the result of one of the enemy’s attacks killed Ukrainian soldier”, – stated in the message.
On Lugansk the direction of the violations of the regime of silence was not.
“It’s time the Ukrainian military personnel who perform the task on the first line of defense, effectively used for strengthening of positions”, – noted in the press center of staff ATO.
It became known that Ukrainian soldiers now control the Novoaleksandrovka in a “grey zone” in the Luhansk region.
