Land outside settlements will give ownership to communities – the decision of the Cabinet

Land outside settlements will soon depart in the property of the United communities.

The corresponding decision on 31 January was taken by the Cabinet, reports “Interfax-Ukraine”.

“Inventory of lands that are transferable United territorial communities (GSS), which will begin tomorrow and will last until the end of the year”, – said the first Deputy Minister of agrarian policy and food of Ukraine Maxim Martyniuk.

We are talking about 760 thousand hectares.

“We will be ready 50% of the value of these lands (that have owners) to cover, however, I think that if it is unable to do,” said Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman.

We will remind, in December 2017 deputies continued the moratorium on selling agricultural land in Ukraine. A ban on the sale or alienation by another method of agricultural land is valid until January 1, 2019.
