Lutsenko told how much Kurchenko gave the money for the shares Saakashvili

Prosecutor General Yury Lutsenko told that the office of the oligarch-fugitive Sergei Kurchenko received over $200 thousand for financing of actions of leader of the “movement of new forces” Mikheil Saakashvili.

“The investigation does not suspect, and knows that the office Kurchenko received over $200 thousand, the purpose of which was financing the protests, and discussed the possible seizure of the premises of the Ukrainian Parliament. The money received under our control people from the inner circle of Saakashvili. It is a fixed fact,” – said Lutsenko.

He stressed that the investigation is convinced that people close to Saakashvili and the leader of the “Movement of new forces” came into contact with Kurchenko to obtain financial assistance for the protests.

Lutsenko also said that the examination found that the voices on the tapes of the conversation of Saakashvili and Kurchenko are real and belong to them.

“What happens next depends on investigators, prosecutors and then the court’s decision,” – said the Prosecutor General.

We will remind, earlier Prosecutor General Yury Lutsenko announced a recording of the conversation of Saakashvili and oligarch of the “family” of Yanukovych Sergey Kurchenko. They agreed to cooperate. Police arrested Saakashvili late in the evening of 8 December and taken to the detention center of the SBU.

December 11, Pechersky district court of Kiev released Saakashvili unconditionally. The court denied the prosecutors the petition about election of a measure of restraint in the form of a round-the-clock house arrest. Saakashvili is accused of assisting a criminal group under article 256 of the Penal code. He faces from 3 to 5 years behind bars.

Preliminary results of the examination the vote confirmed Saakashvili and Kurchenko audio and video footage obtained in the investigation of criminal proceedings.
