Kiev Park can make to the natural reserve Fund
Kyiv Kyoto Park near the metro station “Lisova” unable to recognize the Park-monument of landscape art and to make natural-reserved Fund Ukraine.
This is stated in the press service of the Kyiv city Council.
The relevant draft resolution has already been agreed by the Commission on urban planning, architecture and land use.

“The adoption of this draft decision will provide favorable conditions for the preservation of valuable specimens of the plant world, a number of rare animals protected by the Berne Convention, as well as unique examples of Park construction”, – stated in the message.
The Kyoto Park established in 1972 as a sign of friendly relations between Kiev and the Japanese city of Kyoto. In 2012 the Park was solemnly recorded Guinness world record: the world’s longest Avenue of cherry trees.
