“Ukrzaliznytsia” has completed negotiations with General Electric on production of locomotives
PJSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has completed negotiations with General Electric for the supply and manufacture of locomotives.
This was announced by the Prime Minister Vladimir Groysman.
“Ukrzaliznytsya” and the government concluded negotiations with General Electric. In 20-x dates of February, we will sign a contract regarding the production of new locomotives for trains. Together we will produce a rolling stock” – said in the message.

He also added that Ukraine will focus 40% of production.
Recall state “Railways” will purchase from American giant General Electric 30 new locomotives. A massive update is scheduled to start in September 2018.
