KP “Kyivpastrans” intends to develop the project of reconstruction of the transport network high-speed rail transport to connect areas of the left and the right parts of Kiev – the “tram-train”. It may be put into operation in 2020.

This is stated in the message of “Kyivpastrans” in the newspaper “Khreschatyk” on 27 February, Interfax-Ukraine.

It is noted that ground will be organized a non-stop route which will not depend on vehicle traffic. It will connect the residential area Troyeshchyna with the right-Bank part of Kiev, will take place on the border of business and administrative core of the city through the railway station and completes its journey on Borshchagovka not covered by the metro.

Considered three variants of the connection routes of the city electric trains with the use of existing infrastructure, borshchahivska and Troeschinskogo light rail line with the Kiev railway ring.

First route: from the street Miloslavskaya Troeschinskogo on the light rail line to metro to Troeschyna-2, on the southern semicircle of the s-Bahn via the W/m birch, with the transition to the Street line light rail in the area.p.North (V. Kiev-Pass), then along the existing line light rail station to Ring road, with the organization of arrival in the depot.Shevchenko via the tram line on Avenue Akademika Koroleva.
