Rada has simplified the procedure of importing cars

The Verkhovna Rada has introduced amendments to the law “About some questions of import on customs territory of Ukraine and registration of vehicles“, thus simplifying the import and registration of imported cars.

For this decision voted 235 deputies, reports the Economic truth.

According to the amendments in article 2 of the Law of Ukraine “About some questions of import on customs territory of Ukraine and registration of vehicles,” words “pass into the customs territory of Ukraine” is replaced by “customs clearance”.

This eliminates the need to have a certificate of conformity with environmental standards, which needed to show when you import a vehicle into the country, and during state registration.

However, this certificate will still need to provide domestic customs during the customs clearance of the car.

Earlier in Gospitalniy service reported that on the territory of Ukraine are almost 425,4 thousand cars with foreign registration. More 246,4 thousand cars is illegal.
