The ambassadors of the EU extended sanctions against Yanukovych and his henchmen
Ambassadors of the European Union decided to extend sanctions against former President Viktor Yanukovych and his associates.
The decision was taken in Brussels during the meeting of the Committee of permanent representatives (Coreper), UNIAN reports.

It is unknown how many people are in the sanctions list, but some media reported that it excludes Klyuyev and Olena Lukash.
The decision still must be approved by the Council of the EU published in the Official journal.
As previously reported, the court of the European Union today, February 28, will hear the appeal of former Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Andrey Klyuev with a request to cancel the sanctions against him. All accounts and assets of the Klyuyev in Europe is frozen under the sanctions he got from the suspicion of plundering the Ukrainian budget.
