The suspect was found guilty and sentenced to three years in prison.
In the capital, the court convicted the employee of security Service of Ukraine in the Commission of violations of traffic regulations which have entailed heavy consequences. The verdict in this case made the Obolonskiy district court of Kiev.
The court examined the events of October 2015, when the SBU, in a state of alcoholic intoxication, was driving a BMW X5. He was speeding, flew to the bed, crashed into the electric pillar, killing the passenger of this car. The culprit was sentenced to three years of imprisonment with deprivation of the right of management by vehicles for a period of three years.

It should be noted that this punishment has become almost the minimum possible, because part 2 of article 286 of the Criminal code of Ukraine such an offence is punishable by deprivation of liberty for a term from 3 till 8 years with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for up to 3 years or without it.
