The new tariffs have not yet approved the Ministry of Infrastructure and relevant agencies.
Since April 1, Ukraine had to increase fares in all categories of trains and carriages, besides wagons of the 1st class train “intercity+”. However, the process of approval of the tariff increase was delayed.
“Ukrzaliznytsya” has submitted the relevant documents about the growth of prices by 12% from 1 April and 12% since October 1, the Ministry of Infrastructure. Final approval from the ministries and departments yet.
In “Ukrzaliznytsya” explained how the prices of passenger transport did not increase for a long time, and their cost has increased significantly.
The Department also gave examples of how it can grow the cost of tickets on selected routes:
