The insurgents launched fifty attacks.
For Wednesday, April 18, in the area of ATO in the Donbas the militants 50 times fired at positions Armed forces of Ukraine.
“As a result of enemy shelling, one Ukrainian soldier was injured. Another one of our defender received a combat injury. Victims sent to hospitals and they were given necessary medical aid,” reads the summary of the press center of staff ATO.
On Donetsk the direction from the forbidden 120-mm and 82-mm mortars, grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms fighters fired at the defenders of the mine Butovka, Nevel and Novotroitsk. Under fire from 120-mm mortar shells hit Ukrainian positions near Nikolayevka and 82-mm mortars and grenade launchers, the fighters used in the area of Sand and Water. Rocket-propelled grenades, the militants opened fire on the defenders of Talakovka, Gnutovo, Bogdanovka and Avdeevka from the armament of the BMP – fortifications of the APU under Bogdanovka, from heavy machine guns near opytnoe, vodyanoe and Talakovki, small arms in the district Lebedinsky, Verhnetoretskogo, Marinka, Heaters, Shirokino and Avdeevka and near Hnutove – sniper fire was conducted.
On Lugansk the direction fighters opened fire with 82-mm mortar rounds at Ukrainian fortifications near Novoaleksandrovka and Popasnaya, from grenade launchers – fired at the defenders of the Luhansk and Svetlodarsk from heavy machine guns positions under Novoluganskoe, and sniper weapons – near Mayorsk and Novgorod.
