Unshadowing will give more money than the results of the economic growth – said the Minister.
The shadow economy and of wages in envelopes give rise to the poverty of the Ukrainians and deprive them of the right to social protection
This was stated by Minister of social policy Andrei Reva, the press service of the Ministry.
According to him, approximately 40% of the Ukrainian economy is in shadow.

“Unshadowing at this stage will give more money than the results of economic growth,” says Reva.
“In fact the payroll in 2017 amounted to 796 billion. At 2.5% economic growth last year, we received 212 billion hryvnias to the budget. The money came from the shadow economy, as a result of raising the minimum wage by half,” – said the Minister.
